We are a community-led organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating Puerto Rican heritage in New York City.
For generations, Gracie Mansion hosted an annual Puerto Rican Heritage Celebration to honor the culture, history, and contributions of Puerto Ricans in New York City. Held every June and welcomed thousands of community leaders, artists, families, and residents for a night of music, food, and cultural pride.
This year, when the traditional celebration was no longer welcomed at Gracie Mansion, our community decided to continue the tradition ourselves — because our culture, history, and people deserve to be celebrated.
"Puerto Ricans helped shape New York City and opened doors for Latino communities across the city. We will continue honoring our heritage, our music, our food, and our unity for future generations."
Join us as we keep the spirit of Puerto Rican culture alive.
Our mission is to continue the traditions that have united generations through culture, family, music, food, and community pride.
We believe Puerto Rican heritage is an important part of New York City's identity and deserves to be honored openly and proudly.
Our celebration welcomes everyone — Puerto Rican, Latino, and all supporters of cultural unity and community empowerment.
The celebration is free and open to the public. Tickets are needed - just community, culture, and pride.
